Everyone plays a part in shaping the city we call home. It is the job of urban planners, but also involves residents, businesses and communities.
By working together to steward our limited resources, we can make Singapore a liveable, inclusive and endearing home where many generations can fulfil their aspirations and thrive.
Many conversations, one Master Plan
Building on our shared conversations during the Long-Term Plan Review in 2021, planners from the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) and our partner agencies continued working with Singaporeans to shape the Draft Master Plan 2025 (DMP2025). This is the largest public engagement exercise the agency has undertaken, and involved people from all walks of life.
"As one of the stakeholders in this area, I was thoroughly impressed by the comprehensive and inclusive approach taken by URA. Your team demonstrated a remarkable commitment to engaging stakeholders from diverse backgrounds and ensuring their voices were heard."— Resident at Rail Corridor Queensway node workshop

"I do appreciate the session showing how the previous Concept Plan has shaped the city as it is today, how it has evolved over time, and how it will take shape in the next Draft Master Plan."— Youth at DMP2025 Youth Dialogue with Minister for National Development

"It is a complex job to juggle the different needs of people and translate them to land use and planning of development."— Participant at DMP2025 focus group discussion on green & blue spaces

"What I enjoyed about the sessions was meeting new people and hearing perspectives from people in different fields that I am unaware of, such as business or construction."— Participant at Heritage & Identity Youth Engagement session

Bukit Timah Turf City site visit and engagement with former Turf Club workers.
"I would like to thank URA for the opportunity to participate and look forward to more opportunities to engage in the future."— Industry professional who contributed to discussions on digital economy

Our Engagement Journey

Thank you for being part of DMP2025!
Close to 220,000 people have participated in our DMP2025 engagements since October 2023!
Through visiting our exhibitions and providing feedback as well as taking part in our focus group discussions, workshops and ideas competition, they have collectively shaped the DMP2025.
