Refreshing living and community spaces
Anchored by three mature towns - Bedok, Tampines and Pasir Ris - and major job nodes around Paya Lebar Air Base and Changi Airport, residents and workers in the East can access a variety of job opportunities closer to homes. They also enjoy a wide provision of amenities, connected through a comprehensive network of public transport, recreational corridors and long stretches of coastline. Building on these strengths, our existing neighbourhoods will be further revitalised!
Bayshore
Bayshore saw its first Build-To-Order (BTO) and Government Land Sales (GLS) projects launched in 2024. When completed, this new neighbourhood next to East Coast Park will feature an integrated transport hub, a central park, a school and a transit priority corridor lined with activities. They will be connected by a community loop, creating a holistic living environment for existing and future households.
Residents can also look forward to a wide range of facilities, such as a swimming pool, futsal court, gym and multi-purpose hall, along with other entertainment and recreational offerings at the new Bayshore SAFRA clubhouse. It will be directly connected to Bedok South MRT station and a bus interchange, providing convenient accessibility for homes in the East.

Tampines North and South
These new neighbourhoods have been progressively taking shape since the launch of their first housing developments in 2014 and 2018 respectively.
Tampines North residents can enjoy the newly completed Tampines Boulevard Park which provides a continuous green space with various attractions and amenities for the community. Residents can also look forward to an integrated transport hub seamlessly connected to the upcoming Tampines North MRT Station. This mixed-use development will improve public transport connectivity and introduce a hawker centre, community club and new amenities for all to enjoy!
Tampines South residents can also look forward to a new neighbourhood centre seamlessly linked to Tampines West MRT Station. It will include a supermarket, food court and community plaza while enhancing public transport connectivity to the area.

Pasir Ris

Pasir Ris Town Centre
The rejuvenation of Pasir Ris reached a milestone with the recent opening of the Pasir Ris Integrated Transport Hub (ITH). The development comprises a mall and residences, and provides many new amenities, including a polyclinic, childcare facilities, a town plaza and a bus interchange, all of which are seamlessly connected to the Pasir Ris East-West Line (EWL) and upcoming Cross Island Line (CRL) MRT interchange.

There are plans for more mixed-use developments at the town centre, including a community hub. These new amenities and developments will be made accessible through a comprehensive cycling and walking network centred around the Central Greenway.
New Homes by Sungei Loyang
Plans are being studied for a new neighbourhood near Sungei Loyang. It could include homes, commercial and community facilities, and a linear park along Sungei Loyang - all blended thoughtfully with the surrounding natural landscape. An environmental study is underway to incorporate the area's biodiversity into future development plans.

Enhancing Easties' well-being
The region will have more community amenities, social facilities and attractions to meet everyone's needs and interests.

Linking up with the rest of the city
The opening of new MRT stations in the region along the Downtown Line (DTL), Thomson-East Coast Line (TEL) and Cross Island Line (CRL) will shorten journeys to and from the East.
DTL Stage 3 Extension and TEL Stage 5 will make transferring to the East-West Line (EWL) and connecting to Changi Business Park and Changi Airport easier - especially when the Xilin, Sungei Bedok and Bedok South MRT Stations open in 2026.

From Marine Parade to Tampines (previously 40 minutes)
CRL Phase 1 and CRL Punggol Extension will be completed by 2030 and 2032 respectively, reducing travel time for Pasir Ris and Tampines North residents.

From Pasir Ris to Punggol Central (previously 40 minutes)

From Punggol East to Loyang Industrial Area (previously 45 minutes)
Making streets safer for all
The Friendly Streets initiative, developed by the Land Transport Authority (LTA) in collaboration with the community, enhances pedestrian safety, convenience and comfort through features such as kerbless crossings, wider centre medians and traffic-calming measures.
The Friendly Street at Tampines Avenue 9 is already completed while works for the Friendly Street at Bedok North Street 2 will commence later this year. Residents of Fengshan, Opera Estate, Pasir Ris and Simei can look forward to Friendly Streets being implemented in their towns over the next few years.
