Injecting diverse housing options
A variety of homes will be developed in the North, benefitting those who want to stay near their families. They will be located on brownfield sites as well as sensitively integrated into the region’s green spaces.
Meeting evolving community needs
Look forward to more facilities in the North! From new sports, healthcare, senior care, childcare and community facilities to more food options, there will be something for everyone.

Redevelopment of the former Singapore Racecourse
Living Well, connected with nature

The former Singapore Racecourse is being studied for a new housing estate. Homes will be nestled in the lush riverine setting of the Kranji Nature Corridor and have convenient access to the Rail Corridor and Round Island Route (RIR). They will also be near the upcoming Mandai Mangrove and Mudflat Nature Park and Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve. In addition, the estate will be next to a hub for equestrian sports and community horse riding. There will also be opportunities for new leisure and sports offerings.

Colours
A naturalised Sungei Mandai and park spaces create green and blue connections from Mandai Mangrove Nature Park and Mudflat Nature Park to the Central Catchment Nature Reserve.

Community
An idyllic housing estate at the doorstep of nature will be developed, introducing new communities into Kranji. New infrastructure and facilities will be introduced to the housing estate, providing residents with amenities to meet lifestyle needs. A vibrant new neighbourhood centre can be sited next to Kranji MRT station.

Character
The existing riding centre will continue to be safeguarded for equine uses. The sand track along the eastern boundary, which was previously used for horse training, could be repurposed into a rustic recreational trail for jogging and cycling. A nature-based integrated leisure development could be sited within the future estate.

Woodlands North Coast
Woodlands North Coast will have two unique housing precincts: Housing by the Woods and Woodlands Waterfront. These precincts will have convenient access to various amenities and employment opportunities, as well as to the rest of Singapore and Malaysia via the nearby Woodlands North MRT Station, and Johor Bahru-Singapore Rapid Transit System (RTS) Link.
Housing by the Woods

Housing by the Woods will give residents access to Admiralty Park at their doorsteps. They can enjoy jogging and hiking amidst its lush vegetation, and families can have fun on its giant slides and playground. This is also where the Woodlands North Coast Integrated Development will be, which will provide residents with convenient access to a range of amenities.
Woodlands Waterfront

Woodlands Waterfront is where residents can experience waterfront living and enjoy sports and recreational activities in the Woodlands Waterfront Park and on the 400-metre-long jetty that was once part of the Royal Malayan Naval Base.
WoodsVista Gallery

The two precincts will be seamlessly connected via the WoodsVista Gallery, a 1.9-kilometre-long upcoming community link with designated pedestrian and cycling paths.
